ALPFA – FEI MENTOR PROGRAM – CSUDH
The ALPFA OC and FEI OC chapters have a joint program to help graduating seniors at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH).
Finance Executives International OC professionals will mentor CSUDH Association of Latino Professional for America student members on how to best prepare for the corporate world. The program is limited to 3 graduating seniors. FEI executives will meet with mentees at least once a month.
Criteria for Student Selection
- ALPFA CSUDH Premium Members
- Graduate Fall 2017 – Summer 2018
- On campus extra-curricular activities
- Community, Military Service
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Full, Part-Time, Graduate Students
- Concentration: Accounting or Finance

Mentors and mentees will be introduced and paired in November at the Mentor Program Breakfast Kick-Off. The program encourages the mentors and mentees to meet at least once per month, either in-person, via phone, or remotely via Skype/Webinar/FaceTime. Take advantage of meeting for coffee, lunch, dinner, or at your mentor’s work place to experience different settings. Students get out of your comfort zone and leverage your mentor to position yourself for your target companies. In June, a 1-page statement is due from students to summarize your experience from the program.
